Sestriere Piedmont

Bewteen Val Chisone and the high Susa Valley, at 2035 meters above sea level, lies the town of Sestriere. Famous winter tourist destination, Sestriere is part of the ski-ing district of Via Lattea together with Claviere, Cesana, Sansicario and Sauze d'Oulx.

This is where one finds the most beautiful Italian ski slopes such as Banchetta, Fraiteve, Sises and Rio Nero. Among the sites to visit there is the Parish Church of St Antonio and that of St Edoardo. Festivals include the celebrations in honor of St Edoardo, Patron Saint of Sestriere and the Festa of Regina Pacis.
