Acqui Terme, an ancient spa center since Roman times, lies on the banks of the Bormida river. The complex is divided in to the Nuove Terme in the center of Acqui Terme and the Antiche Terme on the opposite bank on the Bormida.
In Acqui Terme visitors can see the Cathedral, the cloisters of the Rectory of the Cathedral, Paleogi castle, the Bird Garden Botanical Gardens, the Bollente, symbol of Acqui Terme and the Regional Enoteca of Acqui Terme in Palazzo Robellini.
