Villa Dal Pozzo d'Annone Belgirate - Lago Maggiore - Piedmont

Villa Dal Pozzo d'Annone is located on the Piedmont side of Lake Maggiore, just outside the town limits of the picturesque village of Belgirate. Given as a wedding gift in 1827 to Princess Luisa Dal Pozzo della Cisterna by her husband, Ferdinando Arborio, Duke of Sartirana and Marquis of Bremè, the villa still belongs to the family of the Marquis Dal Pozzo d'Annone.

Six suites in the villa are reserved for guests, all elegantly furnished with authentic pieces of period furniture, and valuable artworks. A full range of amenities have been unobtrusively incorporated in the rooms so as to guarantee exceptional levels of comfort and modern technology. An additional guest bedrooms are available in the "Borgo Ottocentesco", a charming complex of buildings situated within the parkland of Villa Dal Pozzo and once inhabited by the fishermen and gardeners of the estate, all skilfully converted in charming guest accommodations, boasting stunning views over lake Maggiore.

In the extensive grounds of the estate, there is an attractive swimming pool, and gym equipped with sauna and Turkish bath. A number of "nature and fitness" trails have been created in the 12 acres of parkland surrounding the Villa.

In the recently converted wine cellars of the "Borgo Ottocentesco" guests find a welcoming Bistrot-Wine bar. The "Stendhal" serves excellent traditional dishes from the Piedmont region, and a fabulous selection of cheeses and cold meats from the Ossolan valley.
