The Locanda del Sant'Uffizio is an attractive countryside hotel situated right in the heart of the Monferrato district, an area famous for its great culinary and wine-producing traditions.

The hotel occupies a charming seventeenth-century building, originally used for ecclesiastical purposes, set in a centuries-old estate and overlooking vine-covered hills, where the grapes for some of the world's most celebrated wines are grown.

The Locanda del Sant'Uffizio has a total of 40 beautifully appointed guestrooms and suites, each offering the highest levels of comfort and a complete range of modern amenities. The Presidential Suite features a marvellous frescoed ceiling with delicate floral patterns and offers a delightful view over the inner courtyard.

Guests dining at the Locanda del Sant'Uffizio's highly acclaimed restaurant are presented with menus featuring superb dishes inspired by the best of Piedmont's gastronomic tradition, including a number of specialities prepared using the prestigious truffles which are found in the area. As one might expect considering the location, the wine list offers a fine selection of the wines produced in the region, including the hotel's "own" Barbera d'Asti Podere del Sant'Uffizio.
